Rhizobium

Available Package Size
  • 500ml
  • 1000ml
Product Description
  • Liquid Biofertilizer
  • Useful In All Legume Crops Only
There are a number of micro-organisms that help plants to absorb nutrients.  Rhizobium is an effective soil bacterium that fixes the atmospheric nitrogen in leguminous plants like Bengal gram, green gram, cowpea, soyabean etc.  Since rhizobium cannot fix nitrogen independently, it makes a symbiotic association with plants by attaching itself to the roots of the leguminous plants and produce nodules.  These nodules then fix the atmospheric nitrogen in the soil and convert it into ammonia which is absorbed by the legumes for its better growth and yield.
  • Viable Cell Count (CFU) : 1 X 108/ml

    3. Saves upto 100 to 200 kg urea per hectare.
    4. Adds nitrogen to the soil.
